Project-Mailbox

As you can see in the photo below our mailbox(the one in the middle) is slightly crooked and rusted.
That is not all that was wrong with it, when you opened it or pulled on it(barely touching it), it would practically fall over because it had been pulled on so much(and because it was old).
So it was  sunny day yesterday and I  decided it was time to replace the oldie.

So here are the tools and supplies that I used for this project(not included in the photo: my gloves, tape  measure, and my camera(grins)
My post hole digger, a shovel, and dirt out of the hole I was digging.
This is the hole I dug for post to go into.
                                Measuring it...
a little bit of concrete to hold it in.......
And of course my work boots(which I didn't put in the hole).   A must have for digging a hole.
Here is the finished project.   My mum put the box on the top, in the hole it went, and now we have a sturdy mailbox!   The post was bought at a St Jude auction held for the local patients.   I love finding good deals, and it was for a great cause.
